My name is Jen, I’m an art critic, curator, and administrator living and working in Chicago.
As a student of art history, my writing focuses on, contemporary art, pop culture, and the works of artists of color, specifically those across the African diaspora. Using personal essays and art criticism to contextualize current events, I’m driven by a desire to contribute a traditionally marginalized voice to the centuries-long discourse about art.
